Pink F1 BWT, Sahara Force India Racecar

The Sahara Force India F1 Team is a Formula One racing team based in Silvertone, the United Kingdom with an Indian license. After proving successful after a number of wins over the past years, they?re ending their association with brand sponsors that gave them the orange, green, black and silver.

But now, they have unveiled a baby pink F1 racecar that is impossibly hard to miss! A new sponsorship deal with BWT, who are an Austrian company who lead in treatment of water products.

The pink is a baby pink mixed with a magenta and silver has given this F1 racing car quite the femme treatment. The same pink is also set to appear on the helmets of the drivers, Esteban Ocon and Sergio Perez.

The reveal of the pink F1 car has definitely lived to its marketing teams expectations as it has made a huge impact on social media and has hit viral status. But the question remains, is this the first pink F1 racing car?

No, it is not. It is uncommon, but there have been pink racing cars including the winners of the Indy 500 in both years 1955 and 1960.

Perhaps this one is set for a win also?

Fox Sports has a larger article you can read more information on the racecar here.
